Yoface: Face Yoga
Last updated: 10/11/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Slonapps (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use the mobile application Yoface (the “App”).
Yoface is not a medical device and is not a substitute for a doctor, dermatologist, or cosmetologist. The App provides general wellness and exercise content only. See our Terms of Use.
The App can use your camera to analyze your face and suggest exercises or show changes over time. This analysis is performed locally on your device, using the device’s own processing capabilities and Apple’s on-device frameworks.
Camera access is requested only when you use a feature that needs it, and you can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings. Without camera access, other parts of the App remain available.
What face data the App processes. When you use the face scan, the App uses the front camera to capture live camera frames of your face. Using Apple’s on-device frameworks, the App detects facial landmarks and analyzes visible skin characteristics such as wrinkles, fine lines, skin texture, and the condition of facial zones.
How face data is used. Face data is used solely to select and personalize your face exercise and training program and to show your progress over time. It is not used to identify or authenticate you, and it is not used for advertising, attribution, marketing, profiling, or training machine-learning models.
Storage and retention. Camera frames are processed in device memory only and are discarded immediately after the analysis is completed. They are never saved to the device, to your photo library, or anywhere else. We do not create a biometric template or faceprint. Only derived, non-identifying results (numeric scores per facial zone and exercise recommendations) are stored locally on your device so you can track your progress. They remain there until you reset your progress in the App or delete the App.
Sharing. Face data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us, to our servers, to analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or subscription providers, or to any other third party, and the App does not sync it to any server or cloud service.
Deletion. You can delete stored scan results at any time by resetting your progress in the App or by deleting the App. You can revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings.
During onboarding and while using the App, you may provide information such as your goals, focus areas, age range, experience level, reminder preferences, and notes. This information is used to build and adjust your exercise plan inside the App.
Please do not enter passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or other credentials. The App does not need them.
The App records which exercises and sessions you complete, your streaks and regularity, and related settings, so it can show your progress over time. This data is stored on your device.
We use third-party analytics and crash reporting services to process basic technical information such as device model, OS version, app version, language, region, approximate usage of screens and features (for example, onboarding steps completed, paywall views, and workouts started), and crash logs. This helps us diagnose issues and improve the App.
This data does not include your photos, video, camera frames, face data, or scan results.
We advertise the App on third-party platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To understand which ads lead to installs and subscriptions, the App uses the Meta SDK, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
If you allow notifications, the App may send reminders about your practice. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings or in the App.
The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Transactions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive your payment details (such as credit card numbers).
We use Adapty (Adapty Tech Inc.) to manage subscriptions, validate purchases, and show and test subscription offers. Adapty processes an anonymous user ID, purchase and subscription status, transaction information received from Apple, device and app information, and country/region. Adapty may forward subscription events to our analytics and advertising measurement partners as described above. See the Adapty Privacy Policy.
Scan results and recommendations are generated automatically and are estimates only. They depend on lighting, camera angle, distance, and other conditions, and they may be inaccurate or inconsistent between sessions. They are general wellness information — not a diagnosis, medical assessment, or medical or dermatological evaluation of your skin or health. Consult a qualified professional about any health or skin concern.
We share limited information only with service providers that help us operate and promote the App:
We do not share your camera images, scan images, face data, or scan results with anyone, because they do not leave your device.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data for money. Under some laws (for example, in certain U.S. states), sharing app events and identifiers with advertising partners for ad measurement may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising”. You can opt out by declining tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt or by turning off “Allow Apps to Request to Track” in iOS Settings, or by contacting us.
Camera frames and face data used for scanning are not retained at all; they are discarded immediately after on-device analysis. Your plan, activity history, scan results, and settings remain stored on your device until you delete them in the App or delete the App. Analytics, crash, subscription, and attribution data may be retained by our service providers for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Keeping face analysis on the device is our main protection: the images never travel over a network. We also take reasonable measures to protect the limited technical information we do process. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and you are responsible for keeping your device and passcode secure.
Data stored on your device (plan, progress, scan results, settings) is deleted when you reset your progress in the App or delete the App.
To request deletion of data held by our service providers (such as analytics, subscription, and attribution data), email slonapps@gmail.com with the subject “Yoface data deletion”. If possible, include the date you installed the App and the device model, so we can locate the related records. We will process your request within 30 days. Deleting this data does not cancel your subscription — cancel it in your Apple ID account settings.
You can also manage information Meta has received about your activity in other apps in your Facebook or Instagram settings (“Your activity off Meta technologies”).
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Note that data kept only on your device is under your direct control and can be deleted by you at any time. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Our service providers may process the information described above in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above.
