Skoofy: AI Financial Assistant

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mobile application Skoofy (the “App”) provided by Slonapps (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. App Purpose

The App provides tools for tracking and organizing personal finances and for asking questions to an AI assistant that returns general information, explanations, summaries, and suggestions based on the data you enter.

2. No Financial, Investment, Tax, or Legal Advice

Skoofy is not a bank, broker, lender, insurer, or licensed financial advisor, and it does not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

All content in the App, including AI-generated responses, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created by your use of the App. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions, and you should consult a qualified, licensed professional before acting on anything you read in the App.

3. AI-Generated Content and Accuracy

Responses in the App are generated automatically. They may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect, may not reflect current rates, prices, laws, or tax rules, and may not apply to your jurisdiction or personal circumstances. Calculations, forecasts, and projections are estimates only and are not a guarantee of any outcome.

Verify important information independently before relying on it.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, and legally able to agree to these Terms in order to use the App.

5. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Apple’s rules.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the App or attempt to interfere with its normal operation.
Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.
Do not use the App in a way that violates any law or regulation.
Do not use the App to process or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing content.
Do not present App output as professional financial advice to other people.
Do not enter passwords, banking credentials, or full payment card numbers into the App.

7. Your Data and Content

You are responsible for the information you enter into the App, including its accuracy. The quality of the summaries and answers you receive depends on the data you provide.

You are also responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use any content you enter into the App.

8. Device Security

The App may allow you to protect your content using a passcode and, on supported devices, Face ID or other device-supported biometric authentication. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for maintaining control over your passcode and device access.

We cannot guarantee that any storage system is completely immune from unauthorized access.

9. Subscriptions & Purchases (if applicable)

The App may offer in-app purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions now or in the future. Where offered, they are processed by Apple via your Apple ID. Pricing, billing, and refunds are handled according to Apple’s policies, and prices may vary by region.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Where a free trial or introductory offer is provided, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription covering the same period.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
We may change the features included in free and paid tiers, and we may introduce paid features in future versions of the App.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or suitability for your financial situation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any financial loss, lost profits, missed opportunities, tax penalties, or loss of data arising from your use of the App or from decisions you make based on its content.

13. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.
